Walk through the pages of history as told by our European alleys

The Huis Ten Bosch resort is a re-creation of an European town during the 12-20 centuries. It is divided into 11 distinct zones based on appearance, including rural, new town, old town, port city, and forest zones with a stunning array of approximately 150 buildings, including the symbolic Domtoren Tower. Several of the buildings are exact replicas of buildings you can find in Holland today. Take a walk through the history of middle age towns as you visit each building one by one.

  • 1. Welcome Gate(park entrance) is the area around the entrance/exit.
  • 2. Flower Road abounds with flowerbeds and windmills.
  • 3. Attraction Town is lined with amusement facilities.
  • 4. Friesland has a stable for native Dutch horses.
  • 5. World Bazaar is the center shopping district.
  • 6. Tower City is home to the symbolic Domtoren tower and delicious flavors of the world.
  • 7. Harbor Town is a port city facing the marina.
  • 8. Forest Park is wooded area that faces a lake and is lined with villas.
  • 9. Palace Huis Ten Bosch is home to the resort’s symbolic palace.
  • 10. Wassenaar contains tradition Dutch homes for sale.

The tulips of Huis Ten Bosch have been faithfully blooming every spring since the resort opened.
Our collection of colorful tulips centered around varieties imported from Holland continues to grow.
The Huis Ten Bosch variety of tulip stands as the most prominent piece of our collection.
This special tulip was chosen from among the non-registered varieties, given a name, and reviled as a Huis Ten Bosch original for the first time in 2000, the 400th anniversary of exchange between Japan and Holland.
The Huis Ten Bosch tulip is characterized by its delicate balance of white and pink. Come and see if you can discover one yourself.
