Huis Ten Bosch Museum

The magnificent art museum located within Palace Huis Ten Bosch houses a large collection of world-famous art pieces, including copperplate prints by Rembrandt. Among them, the collection of works by MC Escher, famous for his optical illusions, is one of the best in the world. The dome-shaped mural "Anti-War and Peace," measuring 19 meters high and 11 meters wide at its widest point, is a truly impressive sight.

Dutch folklore exhibit

Location: 3rd floor exhibition room
Huis Ten Bosch has a collection of approximately 3,000 folk materials, including Dutch folk costumes, accessories, and implements from the 19th century, some of which are on display. Along with these folk materials, we will also introduce 19th century Dutch culture through paintings from the book "Dutch Regional Costumes Drawn from Life" by the Dutch painters Valentyn Bing (1812-95) and Braet Von Ueberfeldt (1807-94).

・To protect the artworks, please refrain from bringing umbrellas, parasols, food, drinks, items that are wet or have water droplets on them, or any other items that may damage the exhibits into the exhibition room.
・Anyone who causes a nuisance or behaves in a way that may damage the artwork, or who does not follow the instructions of the host crew, may be asked to leave.
*The final reception time may change depending on the congestion situation.
