Imari ware, which was brought over the sea by the Dutch East India Company from the mid-17th century, has been very popular in Europe since then and has been highly valued as furniture. This ceramics museum displays many works of art along with traces of such exchange between the East and the West. The "Porcelain Room," where about 3,000 pieces are displayed in one place, is a spectacular sight.
