Island Brewery is located on Iki Island in Nagasaki Prefecture, surrounded by the blue sea and rich nature.
"We want to make a beer that goes well with fish." To realize this idea, we focused on the white koji used in barley shochu, which originated on Iki Island. The citric acid from the white koji gives it a refreshing citrus-like acidity. We then topped it off with a fruity hop aroma.

Chocolate beer is a Valentine's Day tradition every year. It is currently sold out, but we will be selling only 24 bottles.
This time, we used cacao nibs (ground cacao beans) produced during the chocolate making process to add flavor.
Until now, the chocolate flavor has been achieved simply by combining malts, but this is the first time that cocoa, an ingredient in chocolate, has actually been used.
There was some concern about how much flavor would come out of it, but the end result was satisfactory, so it was released with great anticipation.
This is a beer that can only be enjoyed at this time of year, so please take this opportunity to try it.
