About admission with pets

Guests may enter Huis Ten Bosch with pets

Please note that, with some exceptions, guests are not permitted to use indoor facilities (Shop, restaurants, Attractions, hotels) or rides (buses, boats) within the park.
*For Shop BEST 3 and Sea Breeze, you can visit us if you use a dog cart or carrier and your dog's face is not exposed.
* Attractions: For the Sky Carousel, only the carriage (1) and gondolas (2) on the 1st floor are available for use while holding your pet on a leash. For more details, please ask the host crew on site.
Only dogs and cats are allowed to enter.

Pets Admission

① Please confirm the pet companion admission rules and fill out the consent form.
If you fill out the pet admission agreement in advance, you will recieve smooth procedures at the ticket booth.

(2) After confirming that you have the water for marking and the dung treatment bag at the counter, we will collect the consent form.

③ We will issue an admission ticket for the pet at the counter, so please show it at each gate you visit.

Admission to Theme Park Zone

You can enter from the Welcome Gate or the Harbor Gate.

Admission to Harbor Zone only

You can enter through the West Gate or the Harbor Parking Lot. At the Harbor Gate, you will be given a document detailing the requirements for bringing pets into the park. Please follow the instructions.

* If you are coming to the Harbor Zone by car, please use the Harbor Parking Lot (charges apply).

How to exit

Exiting the Theme Park Zone

Please return to the main entrance gate at least one time before Huis Ten Bosch closes for the day.
For departures after this time, please proceed through the gate next to the Farewell (Departure) and General Store Schiphol. (Please note that you cannot exit by passing through the store.)

Exiting the Harbor Zone

Please exit through West Gate or Harbor Parking.

Annual Pass holders

Annual Pass holders can apply for a "dog member card" that allows you to visti Huis Ten Bosch smoothly without filling out a consent form for each visit.
Please feel free to visit the member's desk for processing.

Areas and restaurants where pets are allowed

Pet-friendly area in the park

All outdoor areas in the Theme Park Zone and Harbor Zone (some exceptions apply) You can also bring your pet into Front Garden and main garden of Palace Huis Huis Ten Bosch.

* You cannot bring pets inside palace and both inside and gardens when events are scheduled.

If you wish to use the restaurant's terrace seating, please inform your host crew and we will assist you.

Restaurants and cafes where you can dine together with your pet at outdoor seating.

Pets are only allowed on the terrace seating. Terrace seating may be unavailable in case of rain or severe weather. In case of sudden rain, you can use the free space next to Tower City / Tottotto.
When ordering, please have someone with your pet wait on the terrace or use the leash hook.

Multipurpose restrooms where guests are allowed.

When you need to use the toilet, please leave your pet with your companion or use the leash hook.
However, in the following locations, you may enter the multi-purpose restroom with your dog only if you are using a dog cart or carrier and your dog's face is not visible (these restrooms cannot be used as pet toilets).

Pet photography service

We offer a pet photo service at Amsterdam City Photogenic (outdoors).
We will give you a photo card (L-size) containing the photo taken during the shoot.

*Photography is permitted even if only the pet is photographed.
*The event will be canceled in case of rain or severe weather.

Rules you need to follow

● Only dogs or cats are allowed to enter the premises.
● Only pets that have received rabies vaccinations and other necessary vaccinations are allowed to enter.
● We are not responsible for any accidents or problems involving pets that occur on the premises.
● Please be considerate of other guests on the premises, as some guests may not like pets or may have pet allergies.
● During the fireworks and pyrotechnic time (from 8 PM onwards), and on days with major events such as Kyushu's largest fireworks display and Countdown, loud noises from fireworks and event sounds, as well as crowds, are expected. To ensure your pet's safety and avoid excessive stress, we recommend that you leave the premises.
*Pets are not allowed in the paid fireworks viewing area.
● General Store Schiphol Pets are not allowed in the store, so please return to the Welcome Gate when leaving the park with your pet.

● Please note that you will not be able to use or enter indoor facilities (Attractions, Shop, restaurants, hotels, buses, bicycles, boats, etc.), with the exception of some areas within the park.

*Only the carriage (1) and gondola (2) on the 1st floor of Attractions Carousel are available for use with a leash and while being held.
● When dining on-site with your pet, please use the terrace seating at the designated restaurant or order takeout.
● Never let your pet off the leash while inside the premises. If using a retractable leash, please use it at a maximum length of 2 meters.
● Please bring water for marking and a bag for disposing of droppings. You are responsible for disposing of the droppings yourself and taking them home with guests. If you mark, please rinse the area with water (a plastic bottle is acceptable). (If you forget, we can To loan at the information desk.)
● Please do not allow pets to ride in strollers or on benches within the park. Also, please absolutely do not walk your pet while riding a bicycle.
● Please refrain from brushing your pet inside the facility.
● Please be careful not to harm or cause discomfort to other guests. (Please keep a sufficient distance from the surrounding guests to avoid harm or nuisance.) ）
● If your pet injures or harms another guest, or damages any property on the premises, you will be responsible for paying compensation for the damages. (We will not be held liable in any way.)
● Please refrain from tying your pet to building entrances, trees, fences, etc., or leaving your pet unattended in a cart.
● When using indoor facilities or areas where pets are not allowed (such as outdoor Attractions), your companion will need to wait outside with your pet, or you will need to use a paid pet boarding facility outside the premises.
*Please refrain from temporarily leaving your pets with host crew or other guests, as this can lead to problems.
● When pet owners use public restrooms, please leave your pet with your companion or use the nearby leash hook.
*Some multi-purpose restrooms are available for use with pets only if their faces are completely covered by a pet stroller or carrier.
● Please do not use the lead hooks installed on the premises for multiple pets or pets owned by different owners at the same time.
● If your pet barks or otherwise disturbs you during an event taking place on the premises, you will be asked to move away from the event area.
● If we find any instances of neglecting to clean up after pets or other breaches of etiquette, we may refuse your entry on your next visit.
● You may be denied entry depending on your pet's condition.
