Information for guests with pets
About admission with pets
Guests may enter Huis Ten Bosch with pets
- * Please note that pets are not allowed indoor facilities (Shop, restaurants, hotels) or on rides (buses, boats).
- * As of October 1, 2019, only dogs and cats are allowed in Huis Ten Bosch.
Pets Admission
(2) After confirming that you have the water for marking and the dung treatment bag at the counter, we will collect the consent form.
③ We will issue an admission ticket for the pet at the counter, so please show it at each gate you visit.
Admission to Theme Park Zone
You can enter from the Welcome Gate or the Harbor Gate.
Admission to Harbor Zone only
You can enter through the West Gate or the Harbor Parking Lot. At the Harbor Gate, you will be given a document detailing the requirements for bringing pets into the park. Please follow the instructions.
- * If you are coming to the Harbor Zone by car, please use the West Gate Parking Lot (paid parking).
How to exit
Exiting the Theme Park Zone
Please proceed to the gate next to the Farewell Gate / souvenir store Schiphol
(Please note that you cannot exit through the Schiphol store with pets.)
Exiting the Harbor Zone
Please exit through West Gate or Harbor Parking.
Annual Pass holders
Annual Pass holders can apply for a "dog member card" that allows you to visti Huis Ten Bosch smoothly without filling out a consent form for each visit.

Areas and restaurants where pets are allowed
Pet-friendly area in the park
All outdoor areas in the Theme Park Zone and Harbor Zone (some exceptions apply) You can also bring your pet into Front Garden and main garden of Palace Huis Huis Ten Bosch.
- * You cannot bring pets inside palace and both inside and gardens when events are scheduled.
Draw water for pets

Restaurants and cafes where you can dine together with your pet at outdoor seating.
Pets are only allowed at terrace seats. In the event of rain or bad weather, terrace seats may not be available. When ordering, please ask your companion to wait with the pet on the terrace or use a leash hook.

Rules you need to follow
- ● Please be mindful that some guests may not like pets or may have allergies.
- ● When you enter any indoor facilities, please thoroughly shake off any pet hair from your clothes before entering. Also, please disinfect your hands before entering where disinfectant is provided.
- ● Please refrain from brushing pets.
- Please use a leash inside the park, and refrain from using park rental strollers for the pet.
- ● Do not allow pets on benches, chairs or tables.
- ● Please refrain from entering indoor facilities (Shop, restaurants, hotels) or rides (buses, boats) in the park.
- ● *Assistance dogs are permitted in all facilities and stores.
- ● Please refrain from tying your pet to store or facility entrances, trees, fences, etc, and use the leash hooks provided. Please note that staff will not be able to take care of your pet under any circumstances.
- ● Please be sure not to dispose pet waste inside park. The waste has to be taken to your home. If your pet leaves any markings, please wash them off with water.
- ● Do not leash your dog while riding a bike.
- ● We will not be held responsible for any injury or damage caused by your pet to other guests or for any accidents that may occur.
- ● Please do not approach moving objects (cars, bicycles, other playground equipment, etc.) as much as possible. Be especially careful when using retractable leash. Huis Ten Bosch shall not be held liable in the even of an accident.
- ● When you see park animals such as swans, horses etc, please maintain a sufficient distance for the safety of both.
- ● If your pet barks during the event, you may be asked to leave the venue.
- ● If you violate the rules in the consent form, you may be asked to leave. Please note that in such cases, the admission fee will not be refunded.
- ● Pets that have not been vaccinated against rabies or combination vaccines, and pets that are currently infected with a contagious disease, will not be allowed to enter the park.
- ● You may be denied entry depending on your pet's condition.
