About admission with pets
At Huis Ten Bosch, it is possible to enter with a cute pet.
- * Please note that pets cannot be brought into indoor facilities (Shop, restaurants, hotels) or on rides (buses, boats).
- * As of October 1, 2019, only dogs and cats are allowed inside the zoo.
Pets Admission
(2) After confirming that you have the water for marking and the dung treatment bag at the counter, we will collect the consent form.
③ We will issue an admission ticket for the pet at the counter, so please show it at each gate you visit.
Admission to Theme Park Zone
You can enter from the main entrance gate or the harbor gate.
Admission to Harbor Zone only
You can enter from the West Gate. At West gate, you will recieve notification paper pertinent to pet admission. you will be requested to follow the rules specified in the paper.
- * If you are coming to the Harbor Zone by car, please use the West Gate Parking Lot (paid parking).
How to exit
Exiting the Theme Park Zone
Please proceed to the gate next to the Farewell Gate (entrance) / souvenir store Schiphol
(Please note that you cannot exit through the Schiphol store with pets.)
Exiting the Harbor Zone
Please exit from the West Gate.
Annual Pass holders
Annual Pass holders are eligible to apply for a "dog member card" that allows you to visti Huis Ten Bosch smoothly without filling out a consent form for each visit.

Pet-friendly area in the park
All outdoor areas in the Theme Park Zone and Harbor Zone (some exceptions apply) You can also bring your pet into Front Garden and main garden of Palace Huis Huis Ten Bosch.
- * The building itself cannot be accompanied during special events.

Pets are only allowed at terrace seats. In the event of rain or bad weather, terrace seats may not be available. When ordering, please ask your companion to wait with their pet on the terrace or use a lead hook.

Rules you need to follow
- ● Please be mindful that there may be guests on-site guests do not like pets or who have pet allergies.
- ● When you enter any indoor facility within the facility, please thoroughly shake off any pet hair from your clothes before entering. Also, if there is alcohol gel or other disinfectant provided, please disinfect your hands before entering.
- ● Please refrain from brushing pets.
- Please be sure to keep your pet on a lead within the venue. Please refrain from using the strollers provided within the venue for pets.
- ● Do not allow pets on benches, chairs or tables.
- ● Please refrain from entering indoor facilities (Shop, restaurants, hotels) or rides (buses, boats) within the venue.
- ● *Assistance dogs are permitted in all facilities and stores.
- ● Please refrain from tying your pet to store or facility entrances, trees, fences, etc. In that case, please use the dedicated lead hooks. Please note that staff will not be able to take care of your pet under any circumstances.
- ● Please be sure to dispose of your pet's feces and take it home with you. If your pet leaves any markings, please wash them off with water.
- ● Please refrain from walking while riding a bicycle as it is dangerous.
- ● We will not be held responsible for any injury or damage caused by your pet to other guests or for any accidents that may occur.
- ● Please do not approach moving objects (cars, bicycles, other playground equipment, etc.) as much as possible. Be especially careful when using retractable leads. In the unlikely event of an accident, we will not be held responsible.
- If there are swans, horses or other animals in the venue nearby, please maintain a sufficient distance for the safety of both.
- ● If your pet barks during the event, you may be asked to leave the venue.
- If you violate the pledge you signed when entering the venue, you may be asked to leave. Please note that in such cases, the admission fee will not be refunded.
- ● Pets that have not been vaccinated against rabies or combination vaccines, and pets that are currently infected with a contagious disease, will not be allowed to enter.
- ● Depending on the condition of your pet when you arrive, you may be denied entry.
