In order to provide better service to guests, Huis Ten Bosch (Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture) will be closed for four days from Tuesday, January 9th to Friday, January 12th, 2024 as part of its work style reform.

In order to realize Huis Ten Bosch 's purpose of "creating an ideal space where you can return to your true self and feel that it is wonderful to be alive" and provide better service to our many guests, we believe it is important for our staff to have a good work-life balance and feel a richness in their lives.
To achieve this, we have decided to increase the number of public holidays by eight days per year, starting from October 2023. We will be closing four of these days and closing one day each at our five directly managed official hotels in February, April, June, and September of 2024 to cover the remaining four days, as part of our work style reform. During the closures, we will also be carrying out electrical work to update our facilities and equipment, which will result in power outages, so that guests can enjoy their stay with peace of mind.
Furthermore, from 2025 onwards, we will increase recruitment and create a system that will allow employees to take the additional eight days of public leave without having to close facilities.
